The Sekondi Education Fund provided GH₵200,000 in educational support to tertiary students, helping cover school fees for students in nursing, teacher training and university programmes.
As our tertiary students prepare to return to school, I am pleased to share that the Sekondi Education Fund has provided GH₵200,000.00 in educational support to students from the Sekondi Constituency.
The support covered the school fees of approximately 90 to 100 students pursuing nursing and teacher training programmes, as well as students enrolled in various universities.
Payments were made directly into the respective institutions' official accounts using the account details provided for the students. Receipts were subsequently issued to the beneficiaries to support a smooth and seamless course registration process.
This intervention forms part of our continued commitment to reducing the financial barriers that prevent young people from accessing and continuing their education.
Education remains one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our young people. Through the Sekondi Education Fund, we will continue working to make educational opportunities more accessible to deserving students across the constituency.
The second application window for the Sekondi Education Fund will open soon. I encourage eligible students and families to look out for the official announcement and application information.
Together, we can continue building a future where no deserving student is held back because of financial hardship.
